Diablo 3 is the long-awaited sequel to one of Blizzard’s biggest hits. The developer set the standards high, but did this title meet the high expectations?
An RPG titan
This is something that bothers me about Diablo 3. Truth be told, it bothers me about every game it's in that isn't explicitly a multiplayer game, but it really bothers me about Diablo 3 that the game is an always online one - that even if I intend to play the game wholly by myself I have to do so connected to Blizzard's servers. Is Diablo 3 PS4 offline? Diablo 3 will not require a constant internet connection for local multiplayer on the PS3 or PS4, Blizzard production director John Hight has confirmed. Diablo 3 launched on the PC and Mac OSX with a required connection to Blizzard’s Battle.net service, even when playing single-player. Diablo 3 on Switch: Online vs. Offline (Update). But it’s also the first time Diablo 3 will be available on a portable console, and an unreliable internet connection comes with that portability. Not possible on PC. One day they're gonna rip it from the ps3 or switch or something like that and re-use the code to construct an offline version of the PC game e.e. Or maybe Blizzard will just be friendly and finally make their game offline-friendly so people can make mods and stuff for the game.

The strong point of it is in the gameplay. The story is there crafted to give you an in-game reason to start playing. There is some exceptional voice acting in Diablo 3.
