Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island it's a platform game genre developed by Nintendo for the 16-bit console SNES in 1995. This is the Super Mario World prequel, ever the best-selling game ever for Super Nintendo. Both games were created by that genius Shigeru Miyamoto.
The game starts with a traveling stork in the middle of the night to bring two babies, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, to their parents. Unfortunately the evil wizard Kamek, at the services of the equally evil Bowser, is aware of the situation and attacks the stork, who is captured together with Baby Luigi.
Baby Mario, on the other hand, falls on an island inhabited by a group of Yoshi. Mario gets on the back of one of them and sets off on the adventure, with the intention of save the little brother. It is precisely the way of managing Yoshi's health that is the innovation that particularly characterizes Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Basically, if Yoshi gets hit Baby Mario stops riding him and starts spinning around the screen inside a huge soap bubble. The player must catch the baby again within a few seconds, otherwise the baby will be kidnapped by Kamek's henchmen and the player will lose a life. If you fall into a ravine or in other similar situations you will lose a life immediately. Very hungry Yoshi can swallow almost any enemy, even the very big one, and spit them out or turn them into white polka dot eggs.

SECRET COINS
In level 1-3, if you go to the second alert box, jump up to the left. If you do everything exactly, you will come to a platform. Run to the left and get 95 extra coins.
MINI GAMES
In the level selection screen, hold down the SELECT button and press the X, X, Y, B, A buttons to access fun mini games.
BONUS GAMES
To play the bonus games at any time, hold down the SELECT button and press X, X, Y, B, A at the map screen. A menu will appear with all the mini battles, two of which can be played against another player.
